This photo shows yours truly holding my 58inch span model
of a 1930`s Stinson Reliant which was built from a Sterling kit of unknown age,
I rescued it from another modellers loft in a part built state and completed
it. Powered by an MDS 40, bought from the same modeller, with a home-made in
cowl silencer it flies a dream with low slow passes at just above idle. I am
very pleased with the end result to this model, it really is a beauty.
Another shot of the "Stinson" showing its lovely lines
and the distinctive "Gull" wing. Finish is Solarfilm/Solartrim covering for
the wing and fuselage and Solarlac for the cowl and spats. The
model has now been sold on to make room for others.
