This model is a 55inch span Curtiss P-40B Tomahawk built
from a "Wing Manufacturing" short kit from the USA, it is not a true scale
model but is what is termed as Sport Scale where the model keeps the looks
of the full size but the flying attributes of the sport model. It is powered
by a Magnum 40 and is quite fast and manoeuvrable. The model is finished in
the "Flying Tigers" colour scheme with the airframe covered in Solartex and
Humbrol enamel for the brown camouflage, the sharks teeth and wing emblems
were all hand made from Solartrim.
